1. Data Controller

The data controller is Emilio Cano Pérez (hereinafter, "CanoFlash"), with NIF 74845950V and address in Málaga, Spain. Contact email: supercanocoder@gmail.com.

2. Data We Collect

For the correct operation of the CanoFlash ecosystem, we collect the following personal data:

  • Identification Data (via Google OAuth): Full name, email address, and profile picture.
  • Launch-list Data: Email address, date and version of your consent, and the source of the subscription.
  • Technical Data: Connection IP address (for auditing and security) and MAC address of the linked adapters.
  • Usage Data: Record of activity logs (ROM flashing, save games, updates).
  • Online Play Data: When you play a game made with the CanoFlash SDK, the game server processes your device and account identifiers, the player name used in the game, the room and game you join, and the game messages exchanged with other players. Other players in the same room can see your player name.
  • Developer Data: Name and description of the online games you register, and the game keys associated with your account.

3. Purpose and Use

We use your data exclusively to:

  • Allow authentication and access to the control panel (Dashboard).
  • Synchronize your saved games (Cloud Saves).
  • Manage the registration of physical devices.
  • Run online matches between CanoFlash devices: matchmaking, rooms and message delivery between players.
  • Manage the online games registered by developers and keep their matches separate.
  • Send CanoFlash prelaunch and Kickstarter launch emails if you have previously consented.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the system.

4. Storage and Third Parties

Your personal data is securely stored on PiensaSolutions servers located in the European Union. We use Google OAuth services for delegated authentication. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, unless legally obliged.

Game files (ROMs) that the user chooses to link are considered external content under the user's responsibility. CanoFlash does not store or own rights to such content.

5. Your Rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by sending an email to supercanocoder@gmail.com with the subject "Data Protection".

6. Minimum Age

Our services are not specifically directed at minors. However, we do not establish a technical minimum age restriction, although we recommend use under the supervision of legal guardians for users under 14 years of age.
