Web platform
The CanoFlash web is where you manage everything that's not comfortable to do from the GBA: ROM libraries, dongles, saves and more.
Dongle management
In the Dongles tab you can:
- Link a new device's serial number (
CFX-XXXXXX) to your account. - Rename or update the note on an existing dongle.
- Remove a dongle (after which it loses access to your account).
Each user can have multiple dongles linked. Useful if you want to separate your devices from your partner's, sibling's, etc.
Repositories
A repository is a ROM library. Think of it like a playlist: it groups games and makes them available to your dongle.
Creating a repository
Vault → Create repository. All you need is a name.
Adding ROMs
Three ways:
- Direct URL: paste a link to a
.gbaor.zipaccessible from the Internet. - Google Drive folder: import a whole folder at once. You'll see live progress in the
ImportTerminal. - Subscribe to a shared repository: if someone gives you a 12-character token, you can subscribe to their repo and see their ROMs (read-only).
Sharing a repository
Each repository has a unique 12-character share token. Copy it from the repository card and pass it to whoever you want. They can subscribe from their own dashboard.
The share token grants read access to your repository. Right now the only way to revoke it is to delete the repository (we're working on granular revocation).
Saved games
In the Saves tab you can see all the saves you've uploaded to the cloud from your dongles, grouped by game. You can delete them individually.
Profile
Your profile shows how many dongles you have linked and lets you sign out.
Online games
In Online games, register your game and copy its API key for use with the SDK. SDK documentation and downloads are public; managing games requires signing in. Read the API key guide.
